I’ve decided to take next week off for a few reasons: One, it’s my birthday on the 22nd. Two, we’ll be installing the new President (Version 46, now available with Vastly Improved Intelligence Capability) and I feel like celebrating that. And Three, I just want to get some offline creative work done and get myself caught up.
A is currently on vacation and today we decided to get outside and get some fresh air and sunshine by heading over to the Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park, and then driving down to Ocean Beach, where the waves were high and spectacular.
I’m pretty sure you can understand, considering how this week has been playing out. We’ve been avoiding any additional stress by rewatching She-Ra and it’s doing a surprisingly good job of lightening the mood.
ANYWAY! Hopefully I’ll be a little more on the ball next week.
Going to take a few weeks off from blogging as I’ll be busy doing IRL stuff, recharging my brain cells a bit and spending a few days in New England to see friends and family! [Yes, I know we’re heading there at the back end of winter, when it’s still freakin’ cold with the possibility of wonky weather, but that’s the way it goes. Oh well!]
We should hopefully be back to our normal schedule come March. See you then!
Sorry for the lack of posts on the back half of this week…it’s been pretty crazy at work as I’ve been busy training a coworker on the black arts of check processing. Heh. A and I are going on a well-deserved long weekend vacation down to Disneyland!
I hate that it’s gotten to this level, but I’m putting both Walk in Silence and Welcome to Bridgetown on temporary hiatus until further notice. There are just too many frustrating IRL things going on right now and I have no idea when I’ll be able to return to them.
(All is well mentally and healthwise, if you’re concerned…the issue here is wholly related to Day Job Things that I’m not going to go into right now.)
I may pop in and post something now and again, but don’t expect it to be on any schedule. Sorry about that.
Hopefully things will be a bit more…sane, in the near future.
