Hi there! I’m Jon Chaisson, the author of the Bridgetown Trilogy and creator of the Mendaihu Universe, as well a growing number of standalone novels. I currently live in San Francisco with my wife and two ridiculous cats.
I’m a writer mainly of science fiction and fantasy, but I’ll occasionally branch out into mainstream fiction. I currently have six novels available in e-book format at Smashwords. I also write poetry and music (mainly for personal enjoyment/therapy only), and I also blog extensively about music.
My writing nook goes under the name Spare Oom in honor of C.S. Lewis’ The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, a book I read as a child. Its window looks out over my neighborhood with a lovely view of the Marin Headlands and the Golden Gate Bridge…that is, when it’s not foggy.
